The minimum wage is going up in 2025. Here’s what you need to know.

Good news for Florida workers!

Starting September 30, 2025: Minimum wage: $14 per hour Tipped employees: $10.98 per hour

The Big Change 

In 2020, voters approved Amendment 2. It set a clear plan to raise wages every year.

How Did This Happen?  

2026: $15/hour for all workers, $11.98 for tipped worker 2027 and beyond: Adjustments based on inflation

What’s next? 

This wage increase helps many workers:  Meet rising living cost Support their families But for some, it’s still not enough.

Why It Matters 

A single adult in Florida needs $22.43/hour to cover basic needs. For families, it’s even higher!
